Showrunner Dan Berendsen teased fans that "Baby Daddy" season 6 will see a time jump. This means that some of the actors may not return to reprise their roles for the upcoming season. This also means that fans need not fear cancellation since Berendsen himself has confirmed the renewal of the series.

Berendsen revealed that he wasn’t sure that “Baby Daddy” season 6 will take place while shooting the finale scene for the previous season. All he wanted to do was to pass on the message that Emma and Ben will be alright.
