It is to no surprise that the latest Disney movie have Easter Eggs that refer to other movies in their vast lineup but one of the Easter Eggs hints of an upcoming movie. This movie is entitled 'Wreck-It Ralph 2'.
For years, Disney has shown that it can successfully evolve from 2D animation to 3D and still offer that magical feel. With all these openings for creativity, it is easier for animators to mask their famed Easter Eggs. Disney has been known to give out small nods to other movies they have made in the past. One particular Easter Egg hints at an UPCOMING movie, 'Wreck-It Ralph 2'.
Easter Eggs are hidden clues, messages, references, or inside jokes placed in interactive works such as video games, computer programs, and movies. Moana is no exception to this as animators made sure to add some Easter Eggs to their movie. An Easter Eggs reference of Baymax is hidden in a coconut. There are many Easter Eggs about the Little Mermaid since the two people who also directed the Disney Classic are the ones directing this movie. Other references come from Frozen such as Sven and Olaf. But as these Easter Eggs are strategically hidden, one that is too obvious is the Wreck-It Ralph reference.
There is no secret that the movie 'Wreck-It Ralph 2' will be coming in theaters in 2018, perhaps this movie is a stark reminder of that. Wreck-It Ralph was a hit when it first came out. This movie puts the spotlight on the villains who try to redeem themselves from being bad. One particular villain is Wreck-It Ralph, the lovable yet clumsy giant who supposedly destroys buildings while Fix-It Felix fixes them. The test of his change comes when the video games are mixed up and villains become heroes in the end. There is still no platform or story about the next installment of Wreck-It Ralph but fans are given hope in one of the Easter Eggs in the new Disney hit movie, Moana.
