‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ News & Update: Latest Installment Tops PS4 Sales In North America & Europe Despite Reported Sales Nosedive

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was expected to sell more than last year's "Black Ops III," but recent reports suggest that the decline in sales have been atrociously dramatic. Still, the latest installment managed to nab the top spot on PlayStation 4 as the best-selling game for the month of November.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Enjoyed A Big Month

November was a high time for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," having been named the most-downloaded game on PS4 in North America, and the best-selling game in Europe, according to the PlayStation Blog's November report. "Final Fantasy XV" debuted 3rd in North America and 5th in Europe, even though it launched late November. Another new release enjoying the ranks is "Watch Dogs 2," which opened 7th in North America and 3rd in Europe.

"Battlefield 1" came next to "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." Other big games that made the top 10 list in North America are "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition," "Star Wars Battlefront," "Grand Theft Auto V," "FIFA 17" and "Far Cry Primal."

Over on PlayStation VR games, sales brought "Job Simulator" and "Carnival Games VR" to first and second, respectively. Like "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Need for Speed Most Wanted" aced among PS3 games, "Jak and Daxter Collection" for PS Vita and "Psychonauts" for PS Classics, all in North America.

GameSpot reports that part of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be playable starting December 15 at 10AM PST, through December 20. All three modes are available, which include Zombies in Spaceland with a level cap of three, multiplayer at 15 and the campaign's first two missions as well.

PS4 users looking to try out Zombies or "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer require PlayStation Plus, and progress will be carried over from this version to the full game. Digital copy owners need not re-download anything as this is the full, approximately 60 GB version that you'll have to download to join the trial.
