The Steam Winter Sale 2016 has been leaked and fans are already looking forward to getting their hands on awesome game deals really soon. After the date has been revealed, players are all the more excited to know what Valve plans to offer for the Steam Holiday Sale 2016.

As shared by a NeoGAF user, the 2016 Steam Winter Sale will start on Dec. 22 and will run until Jan. 2. The 2015 Winter Sale also fell on Dec. 22 and it should be enough of a hint that the leaked date is legit. But more importantly, Steam DB has updated its website, placing a countdown to the most anticipated holiday sale for gamers, which only confirms the leaked date.

Expert Reviews also reported that Steam Winter Sale 2016 will no longer have the Flash Deals similar to Amazon deals. This means that the drop in game prices that consumers will see on Dec. 22 will be the same prices all throughout the sale.

Christmas will definitely be awesome for gamers because rumors have it that Triple-A titles will be offered in the Steam Holiday Sale 2016. As previously reported by GamenGuide, "Dark Souls III," "The Witcher III" and "DOOM" are only among the many popular 2016 games rumored to be included in the list of discounted games for Steam Winter Sale 2016.

It is also predicted that some of the titles from the Autumn Sale 2016 will make their way to the Steam Winter Sale 2016. These games include "Tom Clancy's The Division," which had 50 per cent off from the regular price; "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim," which had a 67 per cent discount; "Quantum Break," with 50 per cent off; and "Sid Meier's Civilization 6," which had a 10 per cent discount.

So far, Valve hasn't officially revealed what games will be discounted for the 2016 Steam Winter Sale. Fans should continue looking forward with anticipation to the best deals for the Holiday Sale 2016.
