Android Nokia Phone 2017 Release Date, Specs, News & Update: Nokia D1C Price Revealed; High-End Nokia Pixel Debuts At MWC 2017
Nokia is rumored to make a comeback and steal the spotlight in the mobile phone industry with a new Android phone. Having been acquired by HMD Global, the brand is set to compete with other top Android brands in the market and it is said that the phone will debut in March 2017.
Rumor has it that Nokia will release more than one Android phones in 2017 and one of them is called Nokia D1C. According to leaks, Nokia D1C will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor on board with a recorded speed of 1.4 GHz. It is said to be paired with an Adreno 505 GPU. Reportedly, this Nokia Android phone model will come in two variants: one with 2 GB RAM and the other with 3 GB RAM.
Other specs include a screen display measuring five inches and the other has 5.5-inches - both have full HD resolution. Both Nokia 1DC Android phones will have a 16 GB onboard storage capacity. The two variants of this particular model are also expected to have an 8 MP front camera, but each will differ on the main camera specs. One is said to have 13 megapixels while the other has 16 megapixels. The Nokia 1DC variants are also said to be Android Nougat-ready. Prices have also been revealed with one variant priced at $150 and the other at $200.
Meanwhile, specs of the other Nokia Android phone model, currently known as Pixel, have also made the rounds. It is believed that Nokia Pixel will be a high-end model from the company. The specs and features of the device were shared by a Chinese tipster and it was revealed that this model will either sport a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch display.
Reportedly, Nokia Pixel will have a 2K Display, which gave the hind that this is the high-end Android Nokia phone. As for its internals, Pixel is rumored to sport a Snapdragon 820 processor. Other details have not been revealed but the camera is tipped to carry the Zeiss brand. More details about this Nokia Android phone should be revealed at the Mobile World Congress in 2017.
