'Dota 2' Version 7.00 Now Live; Here’s Everything In the New Update

The new update of "DOTA 2" is finally live and it brings massive changes and new content in the game. From new characters, map changes and more game options, this update is so massive it will change "DOTA 2" forever. So this article is all about the new features of the game and important information that players must know.

According to the website of "DOTA 2", its latest update 7.00 includes a new character named Sun Wukong, new map changes, HUD visibility options, talent trees, pre-game options, hero remodels, and a community-authored bots.

The new character, Sun Wukong is described as a Monkey King from ancient Chinese history. The character of a Monkey King has been seen in similar games like LOL and SMITE so it was inevitable that it will also make its way in "DOTA 2". Sun Wukong plays a melee fighter whose specialty is calling a herd of monkeys to help him in his battles. He also has a set of quick moves that can overwhelm its enemy with hits.

Aside from the Sun Wukong, the new "DOTA 2" update also includes the HUD option that gives players the option to have more visibility on the screen. This I done by adding a new control panel with a mini map to see more than what the screen can accommodate. The game's map also has been modified wherein a brand new shrine, runes and bosses have been integrated into the game. Even the jungle has been entirely modified giving it a new look.

A Hero Talent Tree has also been added in the game where players enjoy a new method of leveling up. This time, gamers can level up their characters just like in the usual RPG. The Hero Talent Tree gives talents to the heroes when they reach a specific level in the "DOTA 2" 7.00 Update.
