The two main cast of "Bad Boys" movie series, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, have signed up for another film almost after this upcoming "Bad Boys 3" movie in 2018. This film, the "Bad Boys 4" is reportedly scheduled at 2019.
In 1995, the duo first starred in the original "Bad Boys" action comedy film. After 8 years, this follows the first sequel, "Bad Boys 2" and "Bad Boys 3" this year 2018.
Reprising again their roles as Detectives Marcus Barnett and Mike Lowrey, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence sign for the fourth movie. The NME cited, while the long awaited third installment of the series, "Bad Boys 3," is still in development, it has now been reported that the duo will also cast in a fourth film installment in 2019.
The third film "Bad Boys 3," also known as "Bad Boysfor Life," is scheduled to release on January 2018, just a year before the fourth movie hitting the cinemas. It is of course a surprise for fans waited over a decade for the second sequel then they will release the fourth film almost after the prior movie.
Slash Film reports about the upcoming "Bad Boys 3." The sequel was originally set to be released on July 3, 2019. But now with "Spider Man Homecoming" sequel taking that schedule, "Bad Boys 4" is needed to pull back to an earlier schedule on May 24, 2019, which is the Memorial Day weekend.
"Bad Boys 3" or "Bad Boys for Life" was initially scheduled to release next June of 2017, but Sony has now pushed back and rescheduled the release date to 2018. Director Joe Carnahan will take the new movie installment from Michael Bay, who direct the first two "Bad Boys" films.
No further information given about the schedule of this upcoming movie. But just last week, Will Smith gave fans hope that "Bad Boys 3" may be coming sooner than its scheduled date.
