‘Timeless' Midseason Spoilers: EP Teases Lucy's Grim Fate With Flynn

Lucy could end up dead if she sticks longer with Flynn going into the midseason episodes of "Timeless." This is what executive producer Eric Kripke teased about Lucy's grim fate with the villain.

Kripke teased some spoilers for the second half of "Timeless" in a recent interview with TV Line. He said that Lucy is in trouble with Flynn. She could die as soon as the villain decides that she is just collateral damage, someone who gets in his way.

Kripke said that Flynn might come to the decision to kill Lucy going into the midseason episodes of "Timeless." He may realize that Lucy can no longer be trusted. He may no longer think of her as his ally, especially when he starts to doubt everything he knows about Rittenhouse from Lucy's journal.

"He begins to doubt whether he's, ultimately, going to ally with Lucy. And if that all turns out to not be true, then it escalates the stakes of our show and makes it more dangerous, because now Lucy isn't someone he's trying to partner with," Kripke told TV Line.

Of course, Lucy is to blame if ever Flynn decides to kill her. Flynn is frustrated since she stopped him from completely banishing Rittenhouse from history. The midseason finale of "Timeless" saw Lucy protect David Rittenhouse's son, John. She let him go, since she believes that John will not take over Rittenhouse after his father's death.

In his frustration, Flynn kidnaps Lucy and he takes her with him to his Oculus. Rufus and Wyatt will have to find out which timeline they are headed in one of the midseason episodes of "Timeless."

All throughout the first half of "Timeless," viewers learned that Flynn is only ever after Rittenhouse to avenge his family's death. He thought that killing Rittenhouse would bring them back. However, with John still alive, the chances that his wife and son are alive when he returns to the present time are slim to none.
