‘PlayStation VR’ Limits Stock in UK Until 2017; See Why Sony Decided to Play it This Way?

It may not be as intense as the NES Classic edition, but the PlayStation VR according to Amazon will not have more stocks before the Christmas season. Reports reveal that, Amazon UK lists the device as out of stock on their official website. Stated as "Temporarily Out of Stock," fans can expect the device to re appear in 2017.

The PlayStation VR listing on Amazon UK said "Amazon has sold through our allocation of PSVR and will not have any more stock before Christmas. Orders will be fulfilled in the order they are placed as soon as we receive further stock. This is likely to be early 2017." Not only Amazon UK, but other retails as well; suggesting it would be after the 25th of December before new stocks will arrive.

Currently, the PlayStation VR is the most popular VR compared to the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift. This is primarily because the PSVR is the cheapest, yet equally quality packed VR device among the three. According to the Attack of the Fanboy, aside from its affordable price, the PlayStation VR is also easy to set up and is compatible to the PS4 console.

Meanwhile, one of the reasons seen why Sony will not subject to new stocks is because of the upcoming launching of Resident Evil 7. As the game will be a PlayStation VR title, Sony hopes to bring two brand new gaming experience to fans; hence the absence of new PSVR.

In the UK, the PlayStation VR is priced at £349.99 & FREE Delivery. The box contain the PlayStation VR headset, Processor unit, Stereo earbuds, HDMI cable, USB cable, AC adaptor and power cord and PS VR headset connection adaptor. The PlayStation Camera, which is required for the PSVR is sold separately and is not included in the box.
