Strike Vector Beta Imminent on Steam, New Trailer For Stunning Cyberpunk Dogfighting Game

New Strike Vector Trailer Reveals Open Beta, Stunning Graphics

Ragequit Corporation has just released a new trailer for Strike Vector, their upcoming cyberpunk dogfighting game. As you'll see the game looks absolutely stunning, beautiful and faster than anything out there. Soon we'll all be able to see how it plays for ourselves, since the open beta is imminent. Next month on Steam players around the world will be able to participate.

As you'll see in the trailers you fly planes called Vectors that can transform from a jet that lets you rush to battle or a hover mode that lets you stay still and engage your enemy. You'll have eight unique weapons and all kinds of specialization perks to make a combination that works for you, and further customization options including various cockpits and engines. There will also be eight different industrial scifi arenas to fight in. Check out how close you fly to the obstacles and imagine how many in-air collisions will occur!

Have you seen even a big developer put out a game that looks half as good as this? It's even more impressive when you find out that Ragequit was comprised of a team of four core developers. The team expanded to a massive nine (snicker) and they got to this point in a mere 15 months of development. It's absolutely insane.

In August they sought to get greenlit in Steam's Greenlight program and immediately did based on the strength of their trailers. They're also already promising that updates for the game will be completely free- no micro-payments, no DLC, just free new content to keep you flying.

As it states on the official site all you need to do to enter the Beta is send an email to Beta@strikevector.net. Do that and you'll get an email back that says you'll get a Steam key early in January. Actually the email says "YOUR SIGN UP HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. You will receive your steam key access to the upcoming beta at the early of january. Thanks for your support." Thankfully they make games better than they utilize grammar- I'd call it Engrish but Ragequit Corp is located in France so... Frenglish?

Regardless, you can't deny how awesome Strike Vector looks. Much more on this game as we hear it- see you in the skies.
