‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Latest News & Update: Cheats & Hacks Using SUMOHax; Players Fail Global Mission

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players may install plug-in know as SUMOHax if they want to change the way they play the game. Players looking for tricks to make maximum money, instant egg hatch and more may choose to try out this plug-in. SUMOHax includes cheats and hacks for players to get ahead of the competition. However, such plug-ins are not recommended.

SUMOHax works only on new 3DS units and also requires a bit of hacking via BootNTR. Again, it is highly not recommended as "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players may accidentally mess up their units. Steps to install BootNTR on new 3DS have been listed here. Once players follow these steps to install BootNTR, they can download SUMOHax and the extract the zip to the new 3DS plug-in folder. Next they need to launch BootNTR.

Players need to wait until they are returned to the home menu, then launch the game and spam the A button. SUMOHax enables "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players to activate certain cheat codes such as max money, walk through walls, all Z crystals, 100% catch v1.0, catch trainer's Pokemon v1.0, rename any Pokemon, instant message and many more.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players have massively failed the games first global event. Out of 100 million Pokemon, players could catch only 16 million, writes WIRED. "Unfortunately, the goal for the 'Catch a lot of Pokemon!' global mission wasn't reached. A huge thanks to everyone who contributed their Pokemon tally in an effort to catch 100 million Pokemon worldwide in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon," said a statement on Pokemon Global Link.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Global Event started at the stroke of midnight on Nov. 29 and ended on Dec. 12. Had the players been successful, they would have been rewarded with a bushel of Festival Coins.
