WWE 2016 Latest News & Update: Following Record Feat, New Day Breakup Looms, Find Out Why Here!

The New Day just got in the WWE record books following their latest hurdle on Raw. They hurdled two Triple-Threat matches on the Dec. 12 edition of the red brand, allowing them to break the previous record held by Demolition.

With a new record set, the New Day have taken themselves to another level. But with a new record set, could it lead to a breakup? If so, none of that seemed to appear at Monday Night Raw, WWE.com reported.

The year has seen different dishes on why the “Freebird Rule” reliant trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods need to disband. This is something normal for successful tag teams as each tries to embark on singles competition.

Their title-reign was not only competitive but entertaining. Some believe that the “Freebird Rule” denied proper tag-teams to win the title and perhaps some have a point. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson could be successful tag team champions, not to mention the uncanny tandem of Sheamus and Cesaro.

The essence of tag team has been exploited in such a way, hinting that the key to a successful title run may depend on the numbers. If so, does the New Day have the nerve to boast?

All that aside and probably nothing more than to pad their title-reign length, the WWE may want to see how these three individuals can move up in the ranks in solo competition. It is all about creating new storylines which could include seeing any or all of them turning against the other, Cageside Seats reported.

Xavier Woods has been more of a showman than a competitor with Kingston and Big E known more of seeing action in the ring. It may be time for the trumpet-yielding star to show what he is capable of, more than what he has already shown.

Kingston has proven to be a good singles wrestler while Big E could use this opportunity to be a star. All that remains to be seen as the creative team buckles down to work – hopefully with new storylines.
