Xbox One Gives Bad Grandpa a Heart Attack [VIDEO]

We've told you about a few reported (and seemingly far-fetched) problems with the Xbox One. Broken disc drives, fluid leaks, even smoking consoles. But here's the first confirmed video of the console being the direct cause of a very serious health matter. See for yourself below.

Before you get your panties in a bunch over some misleading headline, seriously, what were you expecting? Some poor old geezer to keel over because Junior's Xbox wouldn't snap to the fishing channel?

For those of you who avoid the movies, that was Mr. Irving Zisman, the wrinkly skinned alter ego of Johnny Knoxville, and the geriatric in charge of getting his grandson across the country in a hidden camera road trip "Bad Grandpa," with the familiar "Jackass" flavor profile, and a dash of "Borat" sprinkled in.

The movie opened in theaters in late-October, grossing a respectable $101.3 million, and a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 61%, comparable to the other "Jackass" films.

As the video notes, the movie is already available on the console's Xbox Video service for anyone who feels like giving it a watch. If the Xbox One isn't your console of choice, it's also available on the PlayStation 4's Video Unlimited Service. If you haven't gone next-gen yet, you'll have to wait until the DVD is out later this month, January 28. Though, Xbox Video does seem to have some advantages over its Sony counterpart, as you can also watch purchased programs / movies on your tablet or PC. More information on that at the Xbox Video webpage.

Microsoft's Xbox One claims an 8-core x86 processor and Microsoft hopes it will take the place of the family room cable box by letting you watch Blu-ray movies and TV through the console, in a "seamless transition" that lets players switch from playing games to watching shows and/or movies. It will come fully loaded with 8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive.

The console's exclusives include Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Ryse: Son of Rome, and more. You can check out a list of the install sizes for all of the launch games here. The Xbox One retails for $499.
