'Assassin's Creed' Release Date, Latest News and Update: Michael Fassbender Played Paintball On Movie Set

One of the settings of the upcoming movie "Assassin's Creed" will be in the Tabernas Desert in Almeria's Spanish town. It is also the same place where "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" were shot. Some of the establishments like a saloon are still there.

The star of "Assassin's Creed" Michael Fassbender rented the town for a day as a treat for the cast and crew and they played paintball. During "The Tonight Show" Michael Fassbender said that he thought of giving a treat to the cast and crew of the movie and have a paintball shootout. He said that they made the saloon as their HQ having real alcohol in there according to a report in Game Breaking News. However, the actor said that it's probably not a good idea to combine booze and paintballing.

He also recalled when he got shot by a custom paintball gun at a close range. He said that he was shot not by a rental weapon like what he is using. He further explained that there are rules and there is no way one should shot another point-blank.

Michael Fassbender explained why he was shot in a report in Gamespot. He said that his rental weapon got jammed so he tried to push the balls. But, when he raised up after he loaded and fixed his weapon, a guy went around the corner and shot him. So, he got hickeys and he was bleeding from his forehead all the way to his neck.

Meanwhile, "Assassin's Creed" actor Michael Fassbender and "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon challenged each other for an air guitar battle. Michael Fassbender rocked when "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne and other songs were played.

"Assassin's Creed" will be out on theaters on Dec. 21, 2016. The movie also includes Marion Cotillard, Brendan Gleeson, Michael Kenneth Williams and Jeremy Irons.
