A 24-year-old female Russian factory worker died after she fell into a vat of melted chocolate. The minced body parts of pastry chef Svetlana Roslina was mixed with the molten chocolate since only her legs were left.
Unless the confectionary factory in Sergiev-Posad drained and threw away that batch of molten chocolate, the possibility of the mix being contaminated with Svetlana Roslina’s body parts exists. It creates a difficult situation for marketing Russian chocolates since the reports did not identify the factory where she worked or if the factory threw away that batch of chocolates.
Sketchy Reports
Accounts were also sketchy. The Telegraph reports that Svetlana Roslina dropped her cellphone into the vat when she tried but failed to retrieve the gadget. She instead fell into the vat and could not escape. But there is a conflicting report that she was pouring flour into the mixer when she fell. Whatever is the real manner she fell, the reports agreed she met her end at the factory’s mixer.
Daily Mail reports that the police is investigating the incident. Svetlana Roslina has two sons, who are four and six years old, with husband Vladimir.
De-energizing The Mixer
According to tverki.com, Vladimir works with wife Svetlana Roslina in the same factory. Factory officials have ordered that the equipment where the pastry chef fell be de-energized first.
