"Half-Life 3" has been a subject of numerous reports and speculations all over the Internet for quite some time now.  The upcoming third installment of the popular first-person shooter video game has yet to be confirmed by its game developer Valve Corporation; however, several reports suggest that the company has been planning to launch the title in 2018.

Despite the lack of information coming from the people behind "Half-Life 3," rumors are starting to spread that the video game will come out in two years. According to reports, Valve is starting to feel the pressure from fans who have been asking for another installment for many years. Although this report has yet to be confirmed by the company, several fans are saying that production will most likely start next year as Valve are preparing to make an official announcement anytime soon.

Nonetheless, these reports could be just another rumor with no real basis to continue rallying to get the game developer into creating "Half-Life 3." However, fans have remained positive and hope for Valve to announce the game early next year.

There have been reports suggesting that the delay of its development is caused by the company's plan to bring the VR or virtual reality technology into the game. If rumors prove to be true, "Half-Life 3" will definitely give players a new exciting way to experience the game.

In another report, GruffBarbarian, a Half-Life subreddit user, has recently posted an image that appears to be a fan-made poster of "Half-Life 3." The image was supposedly uploaded to send a clear message to Valve that fans would want to see "Half-Life 3" more so than the list of titles in "Games That Deserve a Sequel" award for Steam Awards.

As of the moment, the company has yet to pick the best title for the award category; however, fans are confident that Valve will choose "Half-Life 3" and make use of the event to release the official announcement. Stay tuned for more news and update about the development and release of "Half-Life 3."
