The "Originals" Season 4 will explore Klaus and Hayley's relationship. The instalment will reunite the exes. Does this mean that they become lovers again?

Klaus and Hayley ended in good terms with each other in Season 3. They have agreed to put their conflicts aside for the sake of their daughter, Hope. According to executive producer Michael Narducci, the exes are off to a good start in their relationship when the "Originals" Season 4 opens on March 17, 2017.
The "Originals" Season 4 will see the former lovers reunite, this Narducci assured. However, fans should not hope for them to become lovers again. What Klaus and Hayley feel for each other is deep respect and understanding. Unfortunately, there is no romance involved.
"They're not lovers, but they're parents of this girl, and they have to be in concert if they're going to do everything they need to do to raise her and protect her," Narducci said in an interview with TV Line about the "Originals" Season 4.
Likewise, Narducci explained that Klaus and Hayley reunite in the "Originals" Season 4 for the sake of their daughter Hope. They finally agreed to put their differences aside. Instead, they have learned to trust on each other for Hope's welfare.
"They trust and each other and will do whatever it takes to protect their kid, and I think you'll start to see a lot more of that," Narducci further told TV Line.
It is understandable if the "Originals" Season 4 will not interject a romantic storyline for Klaus and Hayley. The exes have not really been intimate or even loving with each other for the past three seasons. They have only been fighting and arguing over their daughter. It is a good thing that the instalment will finally put some sense of normalcy for Klaus and Hayley, since this is what Hope needs in a family especially from her parents.
