Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather Threatens To Slap Conor McGregor And Trash Talks The Notorious

In a recent Instagram live chat, Floyd Mayweather vowed to "slap the sh--" out of the UFC star's "punk ass".

Floyd Mayweather spewed a profanity-laden rant against his would-be oppponent from the poolside. "I'll f--k McGregor up too. That punk ass McGregor. I'm a slap McGregor, I'm a slap the s--t out of McGregor when I see him."

This comes days after Conor McGregor dissed Floyd several times, and even boasted he could knock out the former boxing champ. "If I focus with the work ethic I have solely on the sport of boxing, there's no telling what I could do. I would not go in there just to show up, I'd go in there to knock [Floyd] out. That's it. He can be hit, he's been hit before. Age waits for no man," said McGregor from a recent event in Northern Ireland.

The Notorious UFC champion even obtained a California boxing license, although any talk of a cross-sports match still has to be approved between the respective organizations. Floyd Mayweather will have to wait for another year though, as Conor McGregor is reportedly going to take a year off to settle down with his girlfriend, Dee Devlin.

If a cross-sports fight does happen, Northern Irish boxing champ Carl Frampton doesn't think Conor McGregor has a chance. But if Notorious is really serious, Frampton thinks that a year of training can definitely help him transform to be a real force to be reckoned with against Floyd Mayweather.

The retired boxing champ has also shown no signs of having another match, after Floyd Mayweather defeated Andre Berto in September 2015. Dana White, the president of the UFC, has also dismissed any chances of a cross-sports match happening between Floyd and Conor McGregor. "He's not fighting Floyd Mayweather. It's never going to happen. The biggest fight anyone ever talked about at the time was Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather. Look how long it took that fight to be made and those guys were in the same sport," White pointed out.

Even if there are no chances of a real fight happening between the two, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will continue on with their mudslinging via social media.
