Acer announced its new TravelMate P4 series commercial notebooks are now available in the United States. Thanks to Windows 10 Pro and several ways of data protection, with an incorporated touch fingerprint reader and smart card reader, the tough, travel-friendly laptops let professionals work safely in and out of the office. According to Acer, the two models can recline up to 180 degrees flat for scenarios like presenting information to clients. The tech company also feature wide touchpads, and pre-loaded corporate-level manageability and security tools in the Acer ProShield suite. Acer also runs its Acer Office Manager software so that IT professionals can monitor computer assets, plan maintenance tasks, unleash security policies, and more.

The Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics company said that the P4 features battery life up to 8 hours per charge, and features 'corporate-level features' that include a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip, the company's own ProShield Manager, Acer Office Manager and support for Windows Hello. This makes the TravelMate P4 apt for business workers, individuals working in government and healthcare, and more.
The Acer TravelMate P4 doesn't aim the thinnest sizes or the sexiest designs, instead focusing on the needs of serious users who spend a lot of time on the road or in the air though it is still quite thin at 0.8-inches. The laptop's lid can be folded back 180-degrees, while the display itself can be had at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080, writes Slash Gear. It is priced at $649 and now available in the US at commercial resellers.
