'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Patch News & Update: New Hit & Kaioken Goku Forms Free Today! Update 1.5 Arriving Dec. 20

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" just released the free content patch. It was announced that the game's first paid DLC pack is coming later as well.

The Bandai Namco Europe made the announcement on Dec. 14 via YouTube. Of course, a video of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was posted on the video-sharing site and it shows what the free update does in the gameplay.

The description also reads, "In preparation for the DLC 1 releasing on Dec. 20, SSGSS Goku's Kaioken x10 and Hit's Awakened Form, Pure Progress, will be available for free on PS4 & Xbox one on Dec. 15."

In any case, the upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" first paid DLC has been labeled as patch 1.05 and it was said to be huge. This content is arriving a few days after the release of the free patch.

For players who would like to get the free update, there are several things to gain. As published on Dragon Ball website, below are the free "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" patch to be given to gamers:

Firstly, Bandai added a new skill for SSGSS Goku called the "Awakened Skill Kaioken" is 10 times powerful. There is also the new skill for Hit and it is known as the "Awakened Skill Pure Progress."

In addition, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is getting six new costumes, four new attacks, and an event called Frieza's Siege. In this event, players' task is to protect Conton City from the Army of Frieza and there are 10 Jersey costumes to win for the successful defense. Players can also win some exclusive title at the new Raid Quest.

Finally, the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" free patch will bring new forms of Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku and Hit. Goku, in his transformed self, will get access to Kaioken and Kaioken x 10 while Hit will gain his Rapid Improvement skills.
