Steam has released a new client update. It includes a DualShock full PS4 controller support for PC and 4K streaming at home. Steam has also announced its winter sale that is kicking off on December 22, 2016, until January 2, 2017.
Steam Update: Steam Full Supports PS4 Controller For PC
According to Extreme Tech, Steam has announced that it has full support for PS4 controller on the PC. Valve has allowed its users to configure it just like a native Steam controller with native API support and robust button mapping. It also features a joystick-based mouse, finer grained control, LED color settings, and LED brightness action binding.
Steam Update: PS4 Controller Full Patch Notes Revealed
Steam has released the full patch notes of the PS4 controller for PC. It reveals that the new PS4 controller for PC is a dual shock controller with Steam Configurator support. It will give access to the full range of APIs that Steam controllers have. With this features, the new PS4 controller can map the trackpad, gyro, and buttons to the mouse or keyboard.
Steam's new PS4 controller has also added a software gyro with accelerometer integration for IMUs without hardware integration. It also features a new joystick mouse and controller preference for haptics. It can also counter gyro drift with its added software calibration for non-Steam controller based IMUs.
Steam Update: Steam Now Supports 4K Streaming
Steam is now also supporting 4K streaming at home. This required a router and internet connection. It works with the version of NVFBC in the new Nvidia drivers. Hence, installing games to non-SSD hard drives would be better.

Steam winter sale is coming on December 22, 2016. This will last until January 2, 2017. During the winter sale, prices will be stable and there will be no flash sales.
