Kardashians Latest News & Updates: Lamar Going to Rehab, Find Out About Kardashians' Delayed Reactions

Lamar Odom, the former husband of Khloe Kardashian, just checked himself into a rehab. Much as we are expecting a formal statement from the very transparent Kardashians, it was only Khloe who commented.

Not a timely comment

Way back October 2015, when he and Khloe were still married, Lamar was found unconscious after overdosing on drugs. Khloe lovingly and faithfully nursed him back to health from a coma to which she earned her family's respect that made them change her to their "medical adviser" in their wills. This is what Khloe's last statement was about when she recently posed on the cover of a health magazine.

Khloe and Lamar's love story

The whole world was a stunned witness when the 5'10" sister of Kim Kardashian got married after only knowing Lamar for a month. They met at a party given by Lamar's former teammate Ron Artest. Though suspected of courting the limelight, Lamar was already a star in his own right having just come off from a championship season with the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers. This marriage became his baptism of fire on reality TV.

But Lamar wasn't without a baggage. His mom died when he was 12, his father was an addict and his maternal grandmother raised him. Not only did he just separate from his first wife Lisa Morales when he met Khloe but he was also still mourning the loss of his son due to sudden infant death syndrome. The "stable" Kardashian household gave him direction.

However, because his tendency to abuse substances had not been properly addressed a number of stressors ended everything. The trauma brought about by seeing a cousin die in a car accident that resulted also in the death of a pedestrian plus being shuttled about to different teams ended Khloe and Lamar's marriage.
