'DOOM' Bloodfall DLC Latest News & Update: Final Expansion Pack Adds Three Multiplayer Maps, Demon Spectre Pinky [Watch Trailer]

The "DOOM" Bloodfall DLC recently launched with new multiplayer maps, new hack modules, a new weapon and a new playable demon. Players can expect more excitement with the new environments and more customization options in "DOOM" with the new pack.

'DOOM' Bloodfall Brings New Maps, A New Weapon and a Playable Demon

VG247 stated that the three multiplayer maps in the "DOOM" Bloodfall DLC are Empyrian, Boneyard and Outbreak. Empyrian is an timeless colosseum supported by opposing energies, while the gilded embattlements gradually crumble. The Boneyard is a battle in outskirts of Hell, with the landscape created completely from demon flesh, bone and teeth. Outbreak is a UAC facility that has been changed after underworld science breaks free from confinement.

The new "DOOM" Bloodfall DLC features a new grenade launcher, which is a UAC-banned weapon that banks grenades off of walls and cause area damage. The secondary fire can blast a smoke grenade to hide the player's position from enemies. The new playable demon is Spectre Pinky, which is a fast and heavily armored demon with Spectre abilities. Players can stalk their enemies using invisibility or bull-rush and charge everything in the way.

New 'DOOM' Hack Modules, Armor Sets and Customizations

The "DOOM" Bloodfall DLC brings six new hack modules. Players can get extra protection, gain extra armor per health pickup, extra health per health pickup, augmented healing, glory sight and highlight enemies that can be glory killed from a distance. Lateral thrusters allow dodge enemy fire to add a third mid-air jump through the short directional boosts to movement. The new equipment comes with four new Cultist-themed armor and 15 new armor customization patterns and colors.

PCGamer revealed that four new Cultist-themed armor sets, bug fixes, and 15 new customization patterns and colors have been added by the "DOOM" Bloodfall DLC. The playlists have been lowered to two, namely Free-For-All Play and Team Play, to better aggregate players and find matches faster.

Bloodfall is the third "DOOM" multiplayer DLC pack and is said to be the last. The "DOOM" Bloodfall DLC costs $14.99 and is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC. Players can purchase on the PlayStation Store, Steam and Xbox Marketplace. More updates and details are expected soon.
