'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Latest News & Update: Second DLC Pack Brings Universe 6 Characters Champa & Valdos; January 2017 Release Confirmed?

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has no doubt become one of the most successful games in the "Dragon Ball Franchise," and Bandai Namco knows this too well. Another DLC pack has been announced to be released to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," but no details have been officially out yet. However, there are quite a few leaks that made it to the web.

It has been reported that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be including a couple of Universe 6 characters in the new DLC pack. Champa would then be one of the new characters to be added on the roster. The character is known to be the Universe 6 God of Destruction, who is also the brother of Beerus. In "Dragon Ball Super," he was an evil character, but was actually more concerned about food more than any other.

Valdos would also be a playable character in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" with the new DLC. Her character is quite a powerful one, assisting Champa and is angel-like. Being the sister of Whis, she is considered to be one of the most powerful characters in the entire "Dragon Ball" franchise.

The new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC would also be bringing new attacks, skills and features to the game. As of yet, there have been no official details announced by Bandai Namco, including the exact release date, so fans still have to wait. However, there have been speculations of a January release.

If the new DLC pack would indeed bring in Champa and Vados to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," then only two characters would be left in Universe 6 waiting to be added. Magetta and Botamo, who was just seen in a recent episode of "Dragon Ball Super," are the only characters from Universe 6 still not playable in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

With the current success of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," it is very likely that Bandai Namco would be introducing more DLC packs throughout 2017. The company has also mentioned their plan of supporting the game at an extended period, so a third game is still not in the picture just yet.
