Fans of the 343 Industries first-person action shooter series "Halo" would be glad to know that the remastered game is launching tomorrow. Note that the "Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" is launching tomorrow for those who pre-ordered the digital version of "Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition." The latter is set to arrive on Xbox One and Windows PC on February 21, 2017.
Ahead of the "Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition" release, however, 343 Industries is launching the remastered game tomorrow. The news comes via Windows Central, which reports that "Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" is arriving tomorrow, December 20 for those who already pre-ordered the highly anticipated game. It's something nice to satiate fans and gamers while waiting for February 21.
But "Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" isn't the only new "Halo" material arriving from 343 Industries. In fact, Gamerant reports that 343 hints at more "Halo" projects down the road. The game developer took to their official blog to share that they recently had a meeting about "super secret future stuff" which involve more "Halo" projects. Does this mean they're already working on "Halo Wars 3?"
The report also indicates that "Halo 6" is currently in its early development stages at 343 Industries. The studio seems like it isn't slowing down anytime soon when it comes to "Halo Wars: Definitive Edition" and "Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition." After all, the "Halo" series is one of their more lucrative titles, so it isn't surprising that they would dedicate time and resources to create more "Halo" projects.
