Prince Harry and girlfriend "Suits" star Meghan Markle stepped out in public together for the first time. The couple were spotted holding hands when they went out on a date to the Gielgud Theatre.
The Sun published several photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle together as they walked hand-in-hand in London. The couple was photographed walking towards the Gielgud Theatre to see the West End Show.
The photos show both Markle and Prince Harry clad in jackets and beanies to shield themselves from the cold. They walked from along Piccadilly on their way to the theater and admired the Christmas lights along the way.
Prince Harry had once said that he values his privacy with his girlfriend. He had told off the media to stop taking pictures of Markle.
However, the 32-year old prince and his 35-year old girlfriend certainly did not mind the onlookers gawking at them as they walked hand-in-hand. The couple reportedly stunned people mingled on Shaftesbury Avenue when they passed by.
"Harry has said his privacy is important to him but they are clearly not afraid to be seen in public together. They are clearly crazy about each other and have told friends they are very much in love," a source said as quoted by The Sun.
According to the publication, Prince Harry booked a last minute seat to the show for his date with the actress. He thought seeing the West End Show together would make Markle happy, since she loves the theater. The actress immediately flew from her home in Toronto to London to spend time with her royal boyfriend.
This is the first time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted out together in public. Their date came after Harry confirmed his relationship with the "Suits" star and after he broke royal protocol to visit Markle in Canada from his trip in the Caribbean.
