Two of the most famous smartwatches in the market are the Apple Watch 2 and the Samsung Gear S3. Both were recently introduced with new specs and features for the users.

Many smartwatch fans are still torn between the two offerings. Here is a comparison of some of the features and specs of the Apple Watch 2 and Samsung Gear S3:

Apple decided to continue with its usual rectangular-shaped gadget for its Watch 2. The tech giant believed that having a phone-like gadget on one's wrist has more appeal to the users.

On the other hand, Samsung opted to adopt a circular design and came up with a bigger smartwatch. Samsung's smartwatch is perfect for those who love wearing oversized watches.

Watch color options

The Samsung Gear S3 has two variants: the Frontier and the Classic. Saumsung Gear S3 Frontier sports a rugged look while the Classic options looks a lot like the Samsung Gear S2. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch 2 has two different sizes: a 38mm watch and another 4mm.

Under the hood

Powering the Samsung Gear S3 is an Exynos 7270 dual-core CPU which makes the Samsung offering really fast plus a bigger RAM capacity. It is expected to pack in faster features with 4GB internal storage.

For the Apple Watch 2, a dual-core chipset is added to the device which also promises faster touch response and a reliable smartwatch. An internal memory of 2GB is also rewarded for the users of the Apple offering.

What's the verdict?

With specs and features like these, users may still have a hard time deciding which they should buy. Both the Apple Watch 2 and the Samsung Gear S3 have their strengths and appeal to the buying public. Also, the Samsung Gear S3 is sold for $400 while the Apple Watch 2 is pricier at $529. Which do you think is a better smartwatch?
