Nintendo Switch Release Date, News & Update: Nintendo Confirms 'Dragon Quest XI' Will Be On The Hybrid Gaming Console

Many third party game developers are interested in Nintendo Switch because of its revolutionary feature that lets gamers play the console in handheld mode or in front of a television. 'Dragon Quest XI' for the Nintendo Switch

"Dragon Quest XI" is reported to be a game title for Nintendo Switch when Nintendo posted in its official webpage recently. According to Siliconera, Square Enix did show "Dragon Quest XI" on the Jump Fiesta 2017, but there are no official news about the game title being a part from Nintendo Switch.

Before the big reveal from Nintendo, it was reported that a Nintendo Switch version for "Dragon Quest XI" is still in consideration. It was also followed by the "Dragon Quest" creator mentioning that a Nintendo Switch version will be at works.

However, when "Dragon Quest XI" was announced to have a 2017 released, there were no official news regarding the game title to have a Nintendo Switch version. Square Enix also put out an official press release today stating that "Dragon Quest Xi" will not be featured in Nintendo Switch.

No 'Prey' title for the Nintendo Switch

In other news, "Prey" will most likely be absent in the Nintendo Switch due to the fact that the hybrid gaming console runs a weaker processing chip than most gaming consoles in the market. Bethesda stated that the game developers can make a special "Prey" title for the Nintendo Switch, but with downgraded graphics.

There was a leak that concerns Nintendo Switch features and specs and it shows that the hybrid gaming console will run on weaker processing chips. Things are not looking good for Nintendo as some third party developers are having second thoughts in pushing through with releasing games for Nintendo Switch.
