'Thumper' Latest News and Update: Reaction Game Now Playable on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift

"Thumper" is a rhythm or a reaction game. It features a Virtual Reality making it better. An update has been released to make "Thumper" playable on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

"Thumper" in Virtual Reality is exclusively playable on PSVR according to Hardcore Gamer. However, Steam released a free update that supports SteamVR to make it possible to be played via Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. The game was released in October and it is the only PlayStation 4 version that features an actual VR support through the PS VR headset according to Upload VR.

The game can be downloaded and played on PC via Steam. Unfortunately, "Thumper" is still on 2D screens. Drool made an announcement that the game is officially playable on either Oculus Rift VR or HTC vive.

The Free update adds support to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive through SteamVR. It also supports Oculus SDK. This free update features some additional support on Oculus Touch and Vive controllers. Players can download "Thumper" on Steam Store or Oculus Store. They can still play all nine levels of "Thumper" in 2D or VR mode.

In a report, "Thumper" is considered as one of the platforms best titles on PS VR. Players are addicted and satisfied with the game. The game features pulsating visuals with an intense music.

"Thumper" created a wonderful visual as it includes a violently rhythmic game play that is combined all together. Players can experience some metallic beetle and barrels along the tracks where they need to escape.

They should collide with the obstacles while the music is on. VR support is not necessary in "Thumper" but having it make the game intensely satisfying. The cost of the game is $19.99 in both Oculus Store and Steam Store. "Thumper" was nominated as best VR game in 2016.
