"Half-Life 3" has continued to become a favorite subject of numerous reports and speculations online for a few years now. The last installment of the first-person shooter video game series was released more than 10 years ago and fans could no longer wait for a new video game title to arrive. Despite the confirmation from game developer and publisher Valve Corporation that "Half-Life 3" is not happening in the near future, fans and critics have continued to share their own prediction as to what players might expect once the title comes out in the market.

Nonetheless, several observers believe that Valve might be cooking for a surprise announcement in 2017 and part of it is the upcoming "Half-Life 3." If rumors prove to be true, the third installment of the popular video game franchise will arrive during the 20th anniversary of the game in 2018. According to the report, the highly anticipated video game will be available on the latest consoles of today as well as on the PCs. What's interesting is that several rumors have emerged suggesting that "Half-Life 3" will also be available in virtual reality or VR, which is perfect for fans who would want to experience the game in a different way.

However, according to the latest buzz, a company representative revealed that production of "Half-Life 3" is definitely going to take so much time. Apparently, Valve does not have the luxury of doing it now as the representative admitted that it is not the direction it wants to take as of the moment.

This is definitely disappointing for millions of fans who have been waiting for "Half-Life 3" to come out. However, some players are keeping it positive and hoping for a surprise announcement from Valve to happen anytime soon.
