‘Total War: Warhammer’ Latest News & Update: Creative Currently Developing Second Game Of Trilogy

A recent Creative Assembly post in the Total War forum caught the attention of gamers. Apparently, exciting days are up ahead as the developer recently revealed that another "Total War: Warhammer" game is in the works, the second of a trilogy.

As part of Creative Assembly's regular updates to its gamers, the developer gave a rundown of the various projects currently being tackled by its different teams of programmers. The most exciting revelation from the post was the fact that its Warhammer Team is currently in full production mode making a "Total War: Warhammer" sequel.

Without revealing too much details about the second "Total War: Warhammer" game, Creative Assembly promised some huge content up ahead. Gamers may expect even more exciting gameplay when the new game releases as the developer teased some jaw-dropping animations, the result of months of hard work by its animation and art team.

While no additional details have been released about the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" title, there are speculations that it will also contain its own standalone campaign, reports PCInvasion. Many likewise believe that it may be located somewhere in the "New World" and could feature Lustria, Naggaroth and Ulthuan as playable races.

Meanwhile, the same post also revealed that its New Content Team is busy polishing the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC which will upgrade Bretonnia into a full playable race. On the other hand, a still unnamed historical Total War title is now in pre-production phase, being handled by Creative Assembly's Historical Team.  The developer is also mulling entry into the Facebook-based games market. Its Digital Team is currently working in "Total War Battles: KINGDOM" for it to be playable by everyone, anywhere. Apparenly, Creative plans on making the title accessible even from mobile devices, a move that could gain it some foothold in the ever-increasing mobile gaming base.
