Fans were mostly disturbed following the cancellation of "Limitless" Season 1 and some are even trying to make petitions for the renewal of the show. Most fans were looking at Bradley Cooper as the only hope the show may get. However, recent updates have revealed that Cooper may just stay away from the problem.

Bradley Cooper is the main actor for "Limitless" the movie and is also one of the producers for "Limitless" the TV series, which makes him also responsible for its fate. Reports have indicated that Bradley Cooper was also searching for possible networks to pick up the show but to no avail.

So what made CBS cancel the show when it was still getting good numbers in "Limitless" Season 1? Fans received "Limitless" well at the beginning of the show and the series enjoyed high ratings during the first couple of episodes. It slowly went down, though, in the middle season and went fairly low at the last episodes which made CBS decide on its cancellation instead of just continuing it.

CBS, however, made an effort to offer "Limitless" Season 2 to Netflix and Amazon but both were not interested. Netflix only offered to air "Limitless" Season 1 but it remains to be seen if the streaming service will give the green light to another season.

Craig Sweeny, co-producer of "Limitless," was also making an effort in providing fans with information about "Limitless" Season 2 if it gets renewed. Sweeny is even prepared for the second season. "So, we're going to make some changes to the show, but it will remain essentially - we do find a way for it to be Brian taking NZT working with Rebecca and Boyle and a couple new members on the team, solving crimes and having fun a week-to-week basis," Sweeny said about "Limitless" Season 2.

The cast is also said to be prepared to come back for "Limitless" Season 2 as reported by GameNGuideWith "Limitless" Season 2 renewal backed up by producers Bradley Cooper and Craig Sweeny, fans are wondering why no network would pick up the show. This prompted the viewer to ask what really went wrong.
