Recently, The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has developed a free update which has brought a lot of changes. One of which is the addition of female soldiers, a new move for this multiplayer game. The biggest update also involves a dozen of new maps, new gameplay modes, and holiday-themed weapon camo which includes the not-so-famous "ugly sweater." Also, this update brings console owners a "goodie" which was only available for PC gamers.
New Maps for New Game Modes
The free December update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered will release six new maps which include Bloc, Countdown, Showdown, Strike, Pipeline, and Wet Work. Meanwhile, Express shared about the two new game modes namely Gun Game and Hardpoint.
The development team behind this has validated that there's more to come and that this is just the beginning as they are set to make the content even better. However, they haven't revealed more about what awaits next year.
The overall solid expansion has brought more than that ugly sweater and gift wrap weapon cams but also, an additional "Winter Crash" for console owners, the add-on which can only be enjoyed by playing Modern Warfare Remastered on PC, SlashGear reports.
But Wait, There's More
Probably, the most awaited and exciting part is the "Operational Arctic Wolf", the loot that brings female soldiers into the scene. This is a first for the franchise of Modern Warfare and this has definitely brought something that every gamer would talk about. However, this is not a default option and nobody knows why.
According to Engadget, another first and rather controversial additionals by modern Warfare Remastered is the microtransactions. By playing in-games and buying Call of Duty points, gamers can have their very own cosmetic items such as weapon skins. Now these add more reasons to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered.
