Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date, News & Update: Samsung Flagship Release Date Confirmed; New Look For The Samsung Variant Featured

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated smartphone to be released in 2017. There are several reports regarding Samsung Galaxy S8 specs and features, but recently there has been a report of the Samsung flagship sporting a new look.

A New Look For The Samsung Galaxy S8

According to Yahoo, the Samsung Galaxy S8 features a new look that shows the device's dual curved edges and the screen's extension to the very top and bottom of Samsung Galaxy S8. The photo shows of a small capacitive key below the display screen that will most likely serve as a home button

However, the home button placed on the bottom does not go with the surrounding rumor that Samsung Galaxy S8 will not feature a home button. There are also rumors that Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a fingerprint scanner on the back of the Samsung variant.

The rear of the Samsung Galaxy S8 looks matte rather than plain and it also shows a single camera, while other Samsung Galaxy S8 rumors stated that the handheld will come with a dual lens camera. Samsung Galaxy S8 expected size are 5.1 inches and 5.5 inches.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will also be having a Snapdragon 835 processor and the Bluetooth 5.0 that is bound to deliver a longer range faster speed, and a larger broadcast message capacity. There are also reports that Samsung Galaxy S8 will have an advance AI that will help users with their online transactions.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date

Reports confirms that Samsung will release the Samsung Galaxy S8 in a standalone event in New York City on April 2017. This would mean that Samsung skips with its traditional reveal date in the Mobile World Congress that will be held in February.

Samsung has always revealed their products in the said event such as the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge variants last year. But with the change of venues, it is an indication that Samsung clearly needs more time to finish off final touches for the Samsung Galaxy S8.
