Niantic, Pokémon Go developer has recently announced its holiday offer which will be available during Christmas up to January 3, 2017. It has been reported that a lot of gamers have a hard time catching new Pokémons, Niantic has offered Christmas and New Year promotion which will help gamers in catching the newest Pokémons, as well acquiring upgraded pokeballs.
The holiday offer started on Dec. 25, and will last up to January 3, 2017 offering gamers with exciting surprises. According to CNBC, Niantic will allow gamers to have greater chance of finding eggs that would hatch Togepi, Pichu, and others, as well as obtaining single-use incubator everyday on the PokeStop photo disc. Furthermore, favorite Poke characters, such as Pikachu will be seen wearing holiday hats, part of Niantic's effort to maintain the game's momentum as well as to celebrate the festive season.
According to Forbes, Niantic's holiday sale includes 3 special mystery boxes with randomized items inside. The boxes comes in 3 tiers, Special, Great, and Ultra, with Special containing 10x Great Balls, 2x Incubators, for 250 coins. The Great Box contains 20x Great Balls, 2x Incense, 4x Incubators for 550 coins. The Ultra Box contains 20x Ultra Balls, 25x Incense, 6x Incubators for 1500 coins.
