Confirmed! ‘Final Fantasy’ RPG Arrives In 2017; ‘Final Fantasy XV,’ ‘Pokemon Sun & Moon’ Top Amazon Best-Selling 2016 Holiday Games

A "Final Fantasy" RPG from the series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is slated to be revealed in the upcoming year. Apparently, Sakaguchi has partnered with Silicon Studios for his next "Final Fantasy" game. In the meantime, the latest game title in the franchise was reportedly one of the most sought-after games of the holiday season.

The "Final Fantasy" RPG in 2017 leaks have reportedly surfaced all over the internet. Apparently, the leaks included several concept art pieces. Moreover, the famed developer is expected to make an announcement sometime in the new year, TechnoBuffalo reported.

It has also been confirmed that the CEO of Mistwalker Studios has also partnered with the developers of "Bravely Default". It is yet to be revealed what Silicon Studio may do for the upcoming "Final Fantasy" game. Moreover, it is believed that the upcoming "Final Fantasy" RPG would be a scaled-back console version of the "Terra Battle".

In the meantime, Sakaguchi is yet to reveal what genre the "Final Fantasy" game would be as well as the payment model. Furthermore, Sakaguchi may announce in the New Year whether the game would come on consoles or mobile devices. However, "Terra Battle" has been noted as popular and successful on mobile devices.

"Final Fantasy 15" Among Holiday Best-Sellers From Amazon

In other news, Amazon has reportedly revealed their best-selling products across all categories during the holidays. Moreover, gamewise, Amazon also revealed the best-selling game titles which reportedly included the late year launched "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and the latest "Final Fantasy XV" for the PS4 console, GameSpot reported.

"Final Fantasy XV" game was previously noted to have sold 5 million copies worldwide. Moreover, the game also broke Nintendo records for the fastest-selling game worldwide. Apparently, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" may have not performed as expected when it comes to selling in the market during the busy holiday season.
