Japanese Games reportedly became a hit as soon as they were launched in the market and now several of these Japanese Games may no longer be forgotten as some of them have become household names in the market. Note that "Final Fantasy" and "Super Mario" may have started in the 80s but became a mainstay well into the new millennium. On another note, Japanese Games creators have reportedly revealed "Persona 5" as the top game of choice for this year.

Remember Pac-Man?

Japanese Games like "Pac-Man" in 80s may bring childhood memories as the game's impact was reportedly enormous back them. The game may still be timeless decades later. Moving back to the year 1978, "Space Invaders" was then defined as one of the Japanese Games made for a generation, Kotaku reported.

The game reportedly inspired the creation of the "Invader House" arcade all over Japan. In addition, Japanese Games may be incomplete without "Super Mario Bros." that was released back in 1985 that spunned several titles through the years, the latest being the iOS app "Super Mario Run".

Note that "Super Mario Bros." was noted as one of the most important Japanese Games ever produced in the last 40 years. Moving on to the year 1987, the concept of the game "Final Fantasy" was launched that is expected to thrive well into the upcoming years. Japanese Creators Vote "Persona 5" As Most Popular Game in 2016

In other news, rising above Japanese Games this year is the role-playing video game "Persona 5". It should be noted that the game was released on Sept. 15 this year. Apparently, Japanese gamers are still loving the game that it was voted most popular game in Famitsu's chart.

Japanese Games reportedly beat Nintendo's "Pokemon GO" that placed second and Blizzard's "Overwatch" in third. Various game creators and celebrities reportedly participated in voting that included "Final Fantasy XV" and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" in the Top 5.
