“Injustice 2” the sequel to the successful fighting game developed by Nether Realm will soon be released. Now, the three versions of the game have been revealed and each of them brings its own rewards.

Gamespot announces that there will be three versions to the upcoming Nether Realm fighter “Injustice 2”. In the sequel to the successful fighting series new characters, new stories and new opportunities arise. The standard edition of the game, give you access to a dozen heroes and villain, the full story of the game and access to the game’s online platform. The Digital Deluxe edition of “Injustice 2” will come with three DLC fighters and a premium skin for Supergirl, which will turn her into Powergirl. Together with the Digital Deluxe edition comes and a single gear pack. The Ultimate edition of “Injusice 2” will include 9 DLC fighters, three premiere skins and two gear shader packs.

Gamesradar shares that the skins coming with the limited editions of the game will have great effects on the characters. Each of these skins will change the character’s appearance, dialogue and voice. This help turn some of the greatest heroes in their evil counterparts. Supergirl turns into Powergirl, The Flash into Reverse Flash and Green Lantern into John Stewart. Prices on singular packages are still not available, which makes pricing the limited editions’ content on the least hard.

The official “Injustice 2” site gives fans the chance to pre-order the game, revealing the special content they receive with each different version. The prices reach from $60 to $100 depending on the version of the product you have decided to buy. This brings about the popular lately question of pre-order culture and the role of in-game content. Should games be devised with DLC always kept in mind? Should a full priced game as “Injustice 2” cripple the experience of fans, just because they could not afford a more expensive version of the game? Should additional character skins and a couple of shader packs be kept behind a paywall? One would say, do not go in a gourmet restaurant if you can barely afford a burger, others will say if you order a full meal, but you are forced to pay the side dish separately it is theft. What is your opinion on this matter? “Injustice 2” will be available for purchase on 16 May, for PS 4 and XBOX One.
