Prey Gameplay & Features: Arkane Studios Officially Annouces May 2017 Release; Gamers Fear Issues On PC Platform?

The recent announcement of Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks has brought excitement to gamers, considering that "Prey" is one of the most anticipated games of 2017. Since the original release 10 years ago, the comeback will certainly bring new features into the game.

The new trailer shown during the Game Awards 2016 revealed a recording year 1958 where a group of Russians are fixing the satellite but are suddenly attacked by a black substance attached to the ship. It then fastforwards to 20135 where Talos 1 Research Facility is currently the setting for the game.

With the games official release this May, gamers have also questioned whether "Prey" will not have the same fate as "Dishonored 2". The PC issues on all games are inevitable, which is why, "Dishonored 2" had to be fixed, resolving the issues.

In a previous report by Gamenguide, "Dishonored 2" had issues in PC version, however, Arkane Studios has assured the fans that "Prey" will have a successful PC launch. Recent development on the game includes fixing the configuration setting, and inputting a more stabilized engine. According to Game Rant, although "Prey 2" was cancelled due to issues as well, Arkane Studios has assured gamers that the upcoming "Prey" is a stand alone game, and not tied "Prey 2". The first-person shooter game will definitely provide gamers with a a psychological thriller experience.

The game will feature an action filled experience attempting to survive inside the Talos I Research Facility. Traditional weapons such as shotguns and pistols will be available too. However, gamers will also have futuristic weapons to defeat the enemies.

"Prey" is set to be released on major platforms, PC, Xbox and PS4. Stay tuned for more Gamenguide update.
