'Injustice 2' Trailer Reveals Brainiac, Poison Ivy & Black Canary In Action; Batman Vs. Superman Continues

The "Injustice 2" developers recently rolled out with a new gameplay trailer for the fighting game sequel. Black Canary has been revealed as part of the roster including Poison Ivy, Brainiac and Bane. Moreover, "Injustice 2" is expected to continue the war between the two superheroes, Batman and Superman.

Black Canary Against The Titans

NetherRealm Studios recently updated their official website to confirm the new playable characters reveal in the brand new gameplay trailer. The features showed Black Canary facing some of the biggest titans in the DC Universe that included Brainiac and Atrocitus. Black Canary was also seen using various tech-based attacks and her trademark "Canary Cry" scream in the "Injustice 2" trailer."

It is said that Black Canary would be one of the speedy characters in "Injustice 2". Furthermore, the character also boasts various MMA-inspired grappling moves to use at her disposal. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether or not Black Canary would be featured in the "Injustice 2" online multiplayer beta. Note that Black Canary is a new character to the franchise and was not seen included in the original game.

Previous to her inclusion, the "Injustice 2" developers also confirmed Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd and Supergirl in the game. It has been noted that the latter's inclusion in the game is important as her character reportedly plays a pivotal role in the story. Note that "Injustice 2" would be rolling out on PS4 and Xbox One consoles as well as Android and iOS devices on May 16, 2017, Gamerant reported.

New Teasers Found In Online Beta Fighting Dialogue

In other news, several "Injustice 2" players have recently received an online beta code from the developers. It has been revealed that some story beats have been teased in a dialogue between Super, Batman, Atrocitus and Supergirl. As it appears, the latter may be fighting for both sides.

"Injustice 2" players have noted that Supergirl may be the one who will help her cousin Superman to escape from jail. However, Batman reportedly tries to convince her that the Man of Steel may not have noble intentions while ruling. Moreover, Batman is also rumored to be training Supergirl to fight on his side, Playstation Lifestyle reported.
