Nintendo Switch More Aggressive Than Wii U Marketing; Launches With 'FIFA 18' Built-In

Nintendo Switch is now expected to launch with the "FIFA 18" game in the device. Rumor has it that the Nintendo Switch version may feature inferior graphics than the PS4 and Xbox One counterparts. The Chief Competition Officer of EA Sports Peter Moore also announced that the "FIFA 18" would release later this year.

Nintendo is More Aggressive On The Switch Than Wii U

Previously, it has been noted that the Nintendo Wii U was a sales failure. Apparently, Nintendo pointed out the console's lack of third-party support for the Wii U. Hence, Nintendo became more aggressive when pursuing third-party support for the upcoming Nintendo Switch.

It is said that over 70 developers have collaborated to develop games for the Nintendo Switch. Among the major third party games coming to the Nintendo Switch is the top-selling soccer series "FIFA". Furthermore, EA Sports already confirmed that the game will be built from the ground-up for the Nintendo Switch, Gamerant reported.

On the contrary, latest reports claim that the "FIFA 18" on the Nintendo Switch may not launch as fully-featured as the other consoles. In the meantime, the Nintendo Switch version may not be a last-gen port of the game. However, it should be noted that the game may have inferior graphics or less elaborate online features than other versions.

No other 'FIFA' On The Nintendo Switch

In other news, latest reports debunk rumors that the "FIFA 17" game will be coming to Nintendo Switch between the month of the console's launch and the release of "FIFA 18". Apparently, EA COO Peter Moore explicitly announced that the game will be launched later this year. It is also expected that "FIFA 18" would launch on the Sony and Microsoft consoles as well, Dailystar UK reported.

The Nintendo Switch rumor that the "FIFA" game will be based on the PS3 versions has already been debunked by the EA boss. Moreover, Moore also revealed the timeframe for when to expect the game on the Nintendo Switch which is late this year. It is yet to see how the game will perform on the upcoming console.
