"Fallout 4" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" is now getting updated.  Game developer Bethesda Softworks has recently released a game patch for their pair of games for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

"Fallout 4" PC Players Experienced 58 GB High Resolution Texture Pack

The  PC version game owners were the first to experience the latest patch of "Fallout 4."  The studio also released on Feb.6 an additional High Resolution Texture Pack that comes in at 58 GB worth of download and is optional. The texture pack will make the game's environment to have a glorious detail, Forbes reports.  However, the actual patch is around 90 MB.

PC players who are still wondering if it is worth to download the pack may consider the requirements needed to maximize the "Fallout 4" texture pack.  It is recommended to have, at least, an Intel Core i7-5820K, 8 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 1080 with 8 GB of VRAM.  Now, not all players are equipped with a similar setup, so many will simply walk away from the update, the report added.

High Resolution Texture Pack Is DLC, So It Is Optional Download

The latest patch for "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition," which is version 1.4, introduced some changes to the game.  These include featured category for mods, option for the players to sort the available mods based on daily, weekly, monthly, or all time ratings, as well as the ability to see additional details of the mods, Gamespot added.

The change log also mentioned that general performance, stability improvements and enhancements in reporting mods categories were also included with the patch for "Skyrim." Additionally, the game crashes happening while scrolling the Load Order menu were also fixed, as well as a better error messaging on Bethesda.net.

Going back to the "Fallout 4" update, the studio included an enhanced support for the latest Sony game device.  PS4 Pro owners will now be able to unlock the extra GPU and CPU power of the console, adding a native 1440p resolution support, draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs were also enhanced, as well as the inclusion of the Godray light effect.

"Fallout 4" Patch 1.9 and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition" Patch 1.4 are now both available and will be installed automatically once players login to their account.  Although there is no announcement of its file size, PC players estimated it to be around 90 MB.
