Ready At Dawn 'Deformers' Open Beta Will Not Happen On Valentine's Day

Ready At Dawn previously announced that the new online multiplayer combat arena game "Deformers" would get an open beta launched on Feb. 14, 2017. However, recently, the game's Creative Director confirmed that the open beta will be delayed but only for a short while. In the meantime, the PC version is expected to outperform the PS4 Pro console version.

"Deformers" Open Beta To Run On Same Engine As "The Order: 1886"

Last year, rumors began that Ready At Dawn was working on a project. Eventually, Ready At Dawn revealed that a new game was in the works after inking a deal with GameStop's publishing arm GameTrust. After confirming the delay on a Neogaf post, the Creative Director of "Deformers" also unveiled more details of the game.

It has been revealed that Ready At Dawn will unveil every rendering and fidelity option on PC. Furthermore, "Deformers" is expected to run at more than 60fps on all console gaming platforms. Additionally, Ready At Dawn is said to be aiming for a resolution of 1080p on the PS4 Pro with specific enhancements and 900p on the Xbox One which is also upscaled to 1080p for output, CogConnected reported. Note that on a regular PS4, the game may dip into the 50s fps in 4 player splitscreen. Moreover, the game is said to run on the engine built for "The Order: 1886".

Ready At Dawn Teases New Steam Game

Meanwhile, the Steam launch was said to be delayed due to stress-tests which Ready At Dawn needed to make, Tweaktown reported. Furthermore, Ready At Dawn believes that the open beta would be the means to test their infrastructure. The Creative Director also revealed that the developers want fans to be able to discover why Ready At Dawn has come to love the game so much.

Ready At Dawn is yet to reveal the official release date of "Deformers". It has also been revealed that players on the PS4 would be able to run the game in 60fps up to the 3 player screens Additionally, it is expected that a dynamic resolution system would be used when necessary to ensure that the framerate is maintained.
