The "Injustice 2" developers previously announced that the game beta round would be ending today, Feb. 21, 2017. More characters like Cyborg and Scarecrow have also been noted showing up in the earlier versions of the mobile game. Furthermore, a new trailer surfaced online focusing on the female fighters like Catwoman and Cheetah that were previously announced on Valentine's Day.
Ed Boon Announces Beta Wrap-Up On Twitter
The "Injustice 2" head Ed boon revealed the end date of the beta in his usual playful manner on Twitter. It is yet to be revealed whether or not there will be another testing period or alternately, a demo. It should be noted that "Injustice 2" still has three months before its imminent release on May 16 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
It is speculated that the "Injustice 2" fans had just gotten their last beta. Apparently, gamers may just have to wait until its launch to play, Dual Shockers reported. However, it is expected that there would be more beans to spill regarding the upcoming game in the next few weeks.
Just recently, the "Injustice 2" roster has started to fill up with the like of Cyborg and Scarecrow as well as the female characters, Cheetah and Catwoman. Furthermore, the official website of "Injustice 2" announced that yet another character will be revealed for "Injustice 2" on Feb. 23, 2017.
New Trailer Shows First-Ever Look At Poison Ivy In Action
In other news, a new trailer for the "Injustice 2" fighting game was spotted online, showcasing more of the female fighters joining Supergirl and Wonderwoman. In addition, the Black Canary was also seen duking it out and spouting his combative one-liners. Furthermore, the clip also featured Poison Ivy gameplay for the first time.
The "Injustice 2" developer also revealed that a new playable character earlier this week by the name of Swamp Thing, Gamespot reported. Other playable characters confirmed for "Injustice 2" are Batman and Robin, The Flash, Superman, Harley Quinn and Beetle. It is said that Deadshot, Aquaman, Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd will also join the sequel. Watch the reveal trailer here:
