Final Fantasy IV Android Remake: Remastered Version Out Now on the Amazon App Store

One of most beloved Final Fantasy games has been remade on Android following multiple ports and re-releases since its release over two decades ago. Final Fantasy IV is available now on the Amazon App store for $15.99 featuring refreshed 3D graphics and optimized controls.

Final Fantasy IV has seen a multitude of re-releases and ports, appearing on the Wii and Wii U Virtual Console, PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, PSP and DS over the years. The official description of the game in the press release is as follows:

"The Amazon version of FINAL FANTASY IV features refreshed 3D graphics that have been optimized for mobile devices. The game has been developed using the knowledge from Square Enix's previous RPG titles to offer intuitive touch screen controls.

This version also features refreshed audio all of the voiceovers that were added during the 2006 remake. The difficulty level can be selected to suit preferences which allow novice players to easily enjoy."

A difficulty selection option is nice for the range of people who may want to play this on mobile devices, from those reliving nostalgic moments to players experiencing it for the first time. The game is consistently listed among the series best for what it's worth, but there's no accounting for personal taste.

Given that this is an Android version, there are a wide range of devices that this remake can be played on. The minimum requirements are a smartphone or tablet running Android 2.3 or later, and second generation Kindle Fire. The game is available on Amazon here, and through the Amazon store mobile app.
