In “Pokemon GO”, some Pokemon are very easy to find while some come very rarely. However, with so many Pokemon found in the wild, it's not easy to know which ones are worth catching and which Pokemon should be sent to the Professor to make room for other Pokemon. As for the rare Pokemon, this includes Geodude, Dratini, Growlithe, Vulpix, Onix, Koffing, Ponyta, Sandshrew, Abra, and Magmar. For Gen 2, it includes Slugma, Yanma, Sudowoodo, Mantine, Gligar, Pineco, Phanpy, Shuckle, Qwilfish, and Skarmory according to IGN. Then there is also the very rare Pokemon that’s only found when a player finds its nest. This includes Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Pikachu, Machop, Electabuzz, Whyhorn, Grimer, Lickitung, VOltorb, Pinsir, Scyther, Kabuto, Tangela, and Omanyte. For Gen 2, it includes Totodile, Chikorita, Cyndaquill, Houndour, Misdreavus, and Larvitar.

And that’s not all, there are also very rare Pokemon that are worth finding as they are considered the strongest ones in the game. This includes Militank, Lapras, Girafarig, Snorlax, Stantler, Porygon, Mareep, Hitmonlee, Togetic, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, Chansey, Unown, Aerodactyl.
