Quarians Speculated To Return In 'Mass Effect: Andromeda'

A Reddit user named red_badge_of_derp apparently listened intently during the reveal of the "Golden Worlds" video showcase for "Mass Effect: Andromeda". The Redditor seems to have picked up a very interesting quote during the trailer when it started to described the various habitats available for possible colonization. When habitat five was highlighted, it was described as a suitable for the mission's Quarian members.

The audio clue is very interesting since BioWare has yet to officially confirm the inclusion of the race in the latest installment of the sci-fi RPG. Fans were previously surprised when the developer mentioned that not all of the races in the first few installments would make an appearance in "Andromeda". Game Rant has also pointed out that the hint is the closest ever that the developer has mentioned anything about the race.

Apparently, the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" "Golden Worlds" video mentioned "for our Turian and Quarian colonists, Habitat Five appears to be a perfect home for dextro-protein life". Players are who are new to the series should know that the Quarian race played a big role in the original trilogy. The Geth were created by their people and one of their own was a possible romance option of Commander Shepard. Her name was Tali and she is apparently very popular among the "Mass Effect" gaming community.

Their race is described to be a stateless species that live on colony ships near the far edges of the Milky Way galaxy. The third game of the original trilogy still had them connected with their Migrant Fleet and was reportedly on their way to reclaim their homeland. Gamenguide also reported that the multiplayer mode of the new game will feature female Krogans, which would be their first appearance in the "Mass Effect" franchise.

BioWare has yet to officially confirm a Quarian character in "Mass Effect: Andromeda", while their mention in the "Golden Worlds" trailer seems to be the developer's nod to its fans. The game is scheduled to hit retail on March 21, 2017 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
