EA Sports UFC Gets New Gameplay Trailer [VIDEO]

"Feel the Fight" Trailer Has EA Sports UFC Fighters Take a Beatin'

We've seen plenty of glossy shots showing that EA Sports UFC is indeed a visual treat, but now we have some more gameplay footage to back up those impressive pieces of still life.

"Feel the Fight," part two of EA's look at the gameplay of its upcoming UFC next-gen exclusive is out, showing...well...exactly how the brawlers' jawlines and noses are shattered from their opponents heels and knuckles.

Y'know those super slow-mo replays they'll show after someone kicks the wrong way and breaks a leg, or when someone takes a haymaker right upside the noggin, and you can actually pinpoint the exact moment they lose consciousness and hit the mat rip van winkle style? Well, it's not that graphic in EA Sports UFC, but it's close. The video below is all about reaction, how impact tremors reverberate through mid-sections, the way the skin and muscles tighten in a submission hold, even how the mat gives to the fighters circling each other. It's impressive stuff. If you're a UFC buff, make sure you check it out below.

Even if you're not a UFC fan, it's admirable just on a technical level.

EA is promising more looks at the game in the weeks to come, with new footage shedding more light on heavy handed striking, arm wrenching submission holds, and more.

At last count, the game's roster included more than 30 notable contenders in all, with Georges St-Pierre, Alexander Gustafsson, Jose Aldo, Benson Henderson, Cain Velasquez, Francis Carmont, Chuck Liddell, Carlos Condit, Costas Philippou, Cub Swanson, Cung Le, Donald Cerrone, Demetrious Johnson, Forrest Griffin, Gilbert Melendez, Johny Hendricks, Joe Lauzon, Junior Dos Santos, Chan Sung Jung, Ricardo Lamas, Lyoto Machida, Demian Maia, Mark Hunt, Mike Easton, Minotauro Nogueira, Frank Mir, Erik Perez, Rory McDonald, Scott Jorgensen, Rashad Evans, Chael Sonnen, Brad Pickett, Robbie Lawler, Miesha Tate, and Ronda Rousey.

EA Sports UFC is headed to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this spring.
