‘Injustice 2’ Allows Players To Customize Character Looks & Power Using Real Money
“Injustice 2” just revealed that players will be able to change the looks and power of characters using real money. The in-game currency used are called Source Crystals and players can get it using real world money. This currency, however, can only be used to purchase cosmetic features.
In the announcement made by NetherRealm, “Injustice 2” will have Source Crystals that players can use for cosmetic customization including premiere skins, shaders, and Transform gear feature. The premiere skins will allow players to change the looks of existing characters giving them a completely new look and even voice.
As for the shaders, it provides different color shades that players can apply to their current gear according to VG247. For instance, they can use Harley Quinn and customize the color of her outfit. However, players must keep in mind that these changes will not give any advantages in terms of gameplay. “We value our community and want to be clear – you cannot “pay to win” with Injustice 2,”
The only other use of the Source Crystal is leveling up a player’s character up to level 20. This allows the player to save time from leveling up their characters to level 20. Beyond that, players will all have to give the same effort to further improve their characters according to Gamezone.
“Injustice 2” is one of the most anticipated video game today. It is developed by NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment published it. It is a sequel to “Injustice: Gods Among Us” game released back in 2013. The game is scheduled for release later this year on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. And just like its previous game installment, it comes with a mobile app for both iOS and Android.
The game is very similar to the first game but with some improvements. This includes new gear system, appearance modification, loot dropping system and much more. Its storyline is set five years after the last events of its previous game.
