Nintendo Switch Games: ‘Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers’ Adds Ken, Evil Ryu; ‘Street Fighter 4’ Hits Xbox Backwards Compatibility

"Super Street Fighter 2" Turbo HD Remix was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in November 2008 and was later followed by the return of the iconic fighter, with The Final Challengers as the newest iteration on Nintendo Switch exclusive. Now, Capcom has announced the completion of the development of "Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers".

"Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers" Adds New Characters

In "Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers", two new characters are introduced to the roster, along with the original fighters and bosses. Violent Ken and Evil Ryu are now added, with players free to designate who to engage in a fight in the classic pixel-art graphics or the new modern look.

Meantime, the Joy-Con will be used in Way of the Hado mode, which is a first-person single-player experience. It will let players use the motion controls to fight the Shadaloo army with Shoryuken and Hadoken special moves.

"Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers" also includes a new co-op mode where players can unleash the two-character combos, local and online multiplayer, as well as the opportunity to flick through a 250-page digital art book that has over 1,500 illustrations, which have been written throughout the 30-year history of the Street Fighter series. Meantime, The Final Challengers is exclusively released for Nintendo Switch on May 26, Nintendo Insider reported.

"Street Fighter 4" Comes To Xbox One Via Backwards Compatibility

"Street Fighter 4" will be included in the list of games that are set to hit the Xbox One. This was announced by the head of the backward compatibility feature on the Microsoft console though a statement regarding the current state of the program.

Meantime, the vanilla version of "Street Fighter 4" is also coming to Xbox One, and not the "Super Street Fighter 4," the "Ultra Street Fighter IV" nor the "Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition." This is the game's base version from 2009 without adding characters in the later versions of the game, GameZone reported. Watch "Ultra Street Fighter II" Announce Trailer here:
